Where it began

A community shaped by real conversations.

Founded by Stanley Tabot, The Collective grows from an existing WhatsApp community of more than 1,000 professionals, mentors and career changers.

That number describes the wider community it grew from — not registered members of this platform. Joining here is voluntary, and nothing is imported from WhatsApp.

About The Collective

Designed for trust

A protected space for useful professional exchange.

Members-only visibility

Profiles and community conversations stay within the signed-in community. Email and phone details are not displayed in the directory.

Clear rules and moderation

Community rules set expectations for respectful participation, with reporting and moderation tools when something needs attention.

You stay in control

You decide what to share and which requests to accept. Expertise is self-declared, and live sessions use external meeting tools chosen by the host.

Questions, answered

Before you join.

Who can join?

The Collective is for people aged 21 or over: experienced professionals, mentors, career starters and career changers across industries. Membership may be open or invitation-only, as shown on this page.

Do I need to be an expert?

No. You can join to learn, ask thoughtful questions and work towards a goal. Professional details and expertise are self-declared, so members should use their own judgement when acting on shared guidance.

Can I both seek and offer mentoring?

Yes. One account can describe what you can help with and what you are looking for. You choose whether to offer mentoring, request it, or do both.

What can members do inside the community?

Members can find people by expertise, connect by mutual agreement, join discussions, book available mentoring sessions, attend events or clinics, learn through courses, join challenges and circles, and arrange focus sessions.

Who can see my profile and activity?

Profiles and community discussions are for signed-in members. Private goals, intake answers and session notes have narrower visibility, and your email and phone number are not shown in the member directory.

Where do mentoring sessions and events happen?

The Collective helps members arrange and prepare for sessions. Live conversations use external meeting tools chosen by the host. Availability depends on what members and hosts choose to offer.

How do I join?

Use the joining option on this page to create an account. If membership is invitation-only, your account is saved while you enter an invitation from the community team.
